We are a team of experienced, professional counsellors who all work as unpaid volunteers for Side to Side. We all either hold a diploma in counselling or are currently working towards our diploma.
Trainees have already been in training for quite some time before they start to volunteer for Side By Side. Before trainees begin to counsel clients they are assessed by their qualified tutors.
We work with our trainees to help their development as a counsellor and all counsellors, trainee or qualified, must attend regular supervision sessions to make sure that they are counselling safely and ethically.

Side by Side is a non-profit making organisation, staffed by volunteers and funded entirely by client donations.
Parking
A small number of disabled parking bays are available behind the Link Centre which can be used after 5pm. Other parking is available on Horsedge Street, Roscoe Street, Bow Street and after 6pm on Union Street.
Side by Side takes no responsibility for any loss or damage to your car or belongings if you choose to park in these locations.
